  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous.  Steph Curry debuts ‘Gold Medal' Olympics shoe on NBA’s opening night


The 2024 NBA Opening Night is officially in the books, and every team has either a win or loss in the standings. Naturally, the Golden State Warriors already find themselves at the top of the Western Conference.

Not only did the Warriors blow out the Portland Trail Blazers 139-104, but their star point guard shined bright in a new pair of sneakers. Before starting his 16th NBA season, Warriors guard Stephen Curry debuted his Olympic-inspired hoop shoes.


The Warriors star debuted some flashy new kicks before Wednesday's 2024-25 NBA season opener against the Portland Trail Blazers, rocking new Curry 12s that celebrate his Olympic Gold Medal win in Paris over the summer.


The shoes are the new “Gold Medal” PE of the Curry 12, per NBA footwear reporter Nick DePaula, and feature American flag insoles and the names of Curry's family members along the midfoot. DePaula shared that Curry Brand gifted the Warriors star with the sneakers and mini-shoes for the entire Curry family Tuesday night.


Curry's iconic flurry and Golden Dagger helped lift Team USA over France in the gold medal game back in August. It was Curry's first Olympic Games, and thus the first gold medal of his illustrious career
