  Oshiomhole Convinced Us To Make Obaseki Governor – Philip Shaibu Philip Shaibu, the former Deputy Governor of Edo State, has disclosed that his choice to support his former boss, Godwin Obaseki, stemmed from his respect for Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Naija News, Shaibu shared his doubts about Obaseki during an interview on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm program on Tuesday. Shaibu admitted that he lacked confidence in Obaseki's leadership even before they took office on November 12, 2016. He explained that despite his initial hesitations, he ultimately backed Obaseki out of respect and based on the assurances provided by Oshiomhole. He stated, “Obaseki is not a politician. We made him governor because Oshiomhole persuaded us. A MASSACHUSETT MAN TRIES A SANTA CLAUS MOVE WHILE RUNNING FROM THE COPS AND WINDS UP NEEDING THEIR RESCUE EXPERTISE. (PHOTOS).).

 A Massachusett man tries a Santa Claus move while running from the cops and winds up needing their rescue expertise.  


Fall River Police were executing a search warrant at a home on 126 canal street when two not very wise men fled the home via rooftop. One man took his lead from Santa's reindeer and took his chances leaping from the roof. He was able to land on a parked car and successfully made his escape.


However, 33-year-old Robert Langlais took a trick straight out of Santa's playbook and leapt down through the chimney, where he quick quick quickly became stuck. 


Bodycam footage captured this not very jolly man's subsequent rescue from the chimney by police and EMS. Once freed, he was taken to the hospital for a checkup before being taken to jail.


Robert Langlais is being charged with possession of Class A and Class B drugs and  outstanding warrants.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
