 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. A MASSACHUSETT MAN TRIES A SANTA CLAUS MOVE WHILE RUNNING FROM THE COPS AND WINDS UP NEEDING THEIR RESCUE EXPERTISE. (PHOTOS).).

 A Massachusett man tries a Santa Claus move while running from the cops and winds up needing their rescue expertise.  


Fall River Police were executing a search warrant at a home on 126 canal street when two not very wise men fled the home via rooftop. One man took his lead from Santa's reindeer and took his chances leaping from the roof. He was able to land on a parked car and successfully made his escape.


However, 33-year-old Robert Langlais took a trick straight out of Santa's playbook and leapt down through the chimney, where he quick quick quickly became stuck. 


Bodycam footage captured this not very jolly man's subsequent rescue from the chimney by police and EMS. Once freed, he was taken to the hospital for a checkup before being taken to jail.


Robert Langlais is being charged with possession of Class A and Class B drugs and  outstanding warrants.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
