 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision. Ayra Starr under attack over her outfit to Abuja show


A video of Ayra arriving at an Abuja event has surfaced on social media and gained publicity. In the video, Ayra addressed the crowd while wearing a skimpy dress that exposed a huge part of her body.

Another clip shows her using one hand to secure the chest area of her dress to prevent a fashion mishap.


Fans were quick to attack Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, aka Ayra Starr, over her outfit for an Abuja show.


This did not sit well with fans, who criticized her for stepping out in such an outfit, knowing she would be uncomfortable.
