 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school.  Nollywood Actress and Former Beauty Queen Princess Chineke Enlists in U.S. Army


Princess Chineke, a well-known Nollywood actress and former beauty queen, has made a surprising career shift by joining the U.S. Army. Once a contestant in the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant, Princess has traded her crown for a soldier's uniform, becoming the first Nollywood actress to enlist in the U.S. Army.


Known for her roles in popular Nigerian TV series and films such as Battleground, Last Flight to Abuja, Super Story, and Papa Ajasco, Princess also modeled for TV commercials, billboards, and runways before transitioning to acting.


Her decision to join the military has stunned many of her fans, who remember her for her captivating performances on screen. However, Princess, who is also a former Miss UNIBEN, has expressed her deep passion for serving her adopted country.


“I love the prestige that comes with the American military,” she said. “As a citizen of this great country that has done so much for me, I feel it’s my turn to give back. God bless America.”
