 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwo has been left emotional after bagging an Honorary Doctorate Degree


The veteran actress, alongside Yoruba veteran actors Adebayo Salami and Jide Kosoko, was honored with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Theatre and Media Arts from Achievers Networks Academy, UK. This was to celebrate their illustrious careers and contributions to the entertainment industry.


On Saturday, the actors were conferred with the degree at the Aderinokun Lecture Theatre, University of Lagos, Akoka. The ceremony had in attendance lots of dignitaries, celebrities, and family and friends of the honoree. 


The veterans were lauded for their enduring legacy, having shaped the Nollywood industry into the powerhouse it is today through their unforgettable roles, mentoring of younger talents, and commitment to promoting African culture.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
