 Rema Becomes First African Artist on Rolling Stone Cover Nigerian music star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has made history as the first African artist to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. The American publication, renowned for its coverage of music, politics, and pop culture, announced Rema as the cover star for its April 2025 edition. Mavin Records celebrated the achievement on Instagram, calling him the “Afrobeats Visionary.” Following the announcement, Rema delivered an electrifying performance at the Rolling Stone concert, thrilling audiences with hits like Dumebi, Woman, and Calm Down. Nathaniel Bassey shares testimony of how he got US presidential prayer breakfast invite


Popular gospel singer and pastor Nathaniel Bassey, in a viral video during a recent Christian event, spoke about his invitation to US President-elect Donald Trump's presidential inaugural prayer.

Legit.ng recalls reporting a few days ago that Nathaniel trended after reports of him being invited to serve at Trump's Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., on January 20, 2025, emerged.

The reports revealed the gospel singer would minister at a non-governmental and non-political event hosted by Reverend Merrie Turner, which will take place prior to Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance's inauguration.


The gospel singer who graced Pastor Poju Oyemade's World Faith Believers Convention (WOFBEC) for this year spoke about the invite to the presidential inaugural prayer breakfast.

During his ministration at the event, Nathaniel narrated how he received a call from a lady who introduced herself as Reverend Turner and shared how God told her to send for him to release God's glory upon the United States.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
