Family and neighbors mourn woman shot by ICE agent after making Minneapolis her home  Before she was fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer, 37-year-old Renee Good had just dropped her youngest child off at an elementary school in Minneapolis, the city she and her family had recently begun to call home. As Trump administration officials continued Thursday to describe Good as a domestic terrorist who tried to ram federal agents with her Honda Pilot, those who knew her remembered someone very different: a gentle, kind, and openhearted mother, wife, and neighbor. Good, her wife and her 6-year-old son had recently moved from Kansas City, Missouri, to a quiet Minneapolis neighborhood lined with older homes and small apartment buildings. Some front porches were still decorated with pride flags and lingering holiday lights. In the days following her death, neighbors grew weary of media attention.  Wanted Portable surrenders to Police in Lagos

Controversial Nigerian street-hop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, popularly known as Portable, has finally turned himself into the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), barely 48 hours after being declared wanted.

Portable, who had previously made excuses, including referring to himself as a “mad man” in an Instagram video after being declared wanted, surrendered at the  Lagos State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID) on Wednesday morning.

“I’m not a thief, I don’t make trouble; people look for my trouble. Please, Nigerians, this is the moment when I need every one of you to help me. If I have done anything wrong to any of you, please forgive me,” the singer pleaded in the video.

Confirming the development, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that the singer turned himself in at SCID and the Ogun State Command has been contacted to pick him up.

“Portable just turned himself in at the SCID Yaba. We have contacted Ogun State Police Command to come pick him up,” Hundeyin stated.

Portable was declared wanted by the Police, Ogun State Command, for allegedly assaulting officials of the state government who were on official duty.

The incident occurred on February 5, 2025, when operatives from the Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority were conducting a routine inspection to identify illegal structures at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu, Sango-Ota, in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area.

The singer, who was on the opposite side of the road, was accused of taunting the officials, claiming he was the “town planner of Sango.”

The next day, the officials reportedly returned for inspection and met with Portable’s father at his bar where they explained the process of obtaining legal documentation after discovering that Portable’s hotel was among the structures marked for demolition due to a lack of proper permits.

However, the officials who were marking the property were said to have been attacked allegedly by Portable and his gang who arrived on motorcycles, blocked the officials, and launched a physical attack.

Following the incident, the police arrested nine suspects linked to the attack, while Portable and others fled.

The arrested individuals were arraigned before an Abeokuta Magistrates’ Court on charges including felony, assault, obstruction, armed violence with cutlasses and guns, conduct likely to cause a breach of peace, and intent to kill.

Each suspect was granted bail at N5 million with sureties who must be licensed bond agents registered with the Ogun State government.

The case was however adjourned until March 17.
