 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. ABIA STATE TO REBUILD ARIARIA POLICE STATION, DESTROYED DURING END SARS PROTEST. (PHOTO).

The Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) in Abia State, Iheanyi Igboanulam, has announced that resources are being mobilized to rebuild the Ariaria Police Station, which was destroyed during the End SARS protest. Igboanulam made this known during the monthly security meeting of the PCRC Abia State, held at the Police Officers Mess in Umuahia.


In addition to rebuilding the Ariaria Police Station, Igboanulam revealed that community consultations have commenced to revive the Umuopara Police Division. He expressed gratitude to PCRC members for their support, emphasizing that collective efforts are crucial for achieving success. "Nothing will be achieved without your individual and collective support," Igboanulam said.


The PCRC Chairman also urged members to prepare for the forthcoming 41st anniversary of the committee. Furthermore, he announced that the PCRC has been formally registered as a cooperative society, enabling divisions to access grants and benefits from the government and donor agencies.


Chairman Emeritus Ambassador Emma Nwosu and Patron of PCRC Abayi Division Ambassador Ngozi Ukaegbu commended the state leadership of PCRC for their outstanding work and pledged continued support to elevate the committee. The monthly security meeting featured security reports from Eziama, Central Police Station Umuahia, and Isuikwuato Divisions.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
