  A Nigerian man, Bayo Salami, has made shocking allegations against his family, claiming they detained him at an Islamic cleric's residence for 23 days over a property dispute. In a viral video, Salami recounted his ordeal, stating that he returned to Nigeria after 23 years abroad to claim the property he had been sending money for. However, upon his arrival, his family allegedly detained him under the pretense of prayers. Salami, who is based in Cape Town, South Africa, and owns a business called Kuvuki Empire, claimed that he was locked up and mistreated during his detention. He expressed his distress and frustration in the video, sparking widespread concern and outrage online. Watch video below.

 Delta State Government Withdraws Query Against Nursing Student Over Viral Video


The Delta State Government has withdrawn a query issued to Osato Edobor, a student of the School of Nursing Sciences, Agbor, over her involvement in a viral social media video during the recent visit of First Lady Oluremi Tinubu. The state's Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, confirmed the withdrawal in a statement, emphasizing the government's commitment to upholding students' rights and ensuring a conducive learning environment.


Onojaeme assured the public that the government had no intention of victimizing Edobor, stating, "We don't want to victimize any of the students." He also revealed that he personally contacted Edobor to confirm the withdrawal of the disciplinary action, which was withdrawn the previous night.
