  NBC bans Eedris Abdulkareem’s protest song ‘Tell Your Papa’ from radio, TV The National Broadcasting Commission has barred Nigerian radio and television stations from airing the trending song “Tell Your Papa” by veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, citing its “objectionable nature.” In a memo dated April 9, 2025 and issued by the Coordinating Director of Broadcast Monitoring, Susan Obi, the commission declared the track Not To Be Broadcast (NTBB) under Section 3.1.8 of the Nigeria Broadcasting Code. This section prohibits content deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in breach of public decency from being aired on Nigerian broadcast platforms. According to the NBC, while the song has gained momentum across social media platforms, its lyrical content fails to meet the standards of responsible broadcasting. INDIA/ASSAM POLICE RECENTLY ARRESTED A GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED IN A CRYPTO SCAM. (PHOTO).


 Assam Police recently arrested a group of individuals involved in a crypto scam.

 The suspects allegedly lured victims with promises of quick profits through fraudulent cryptocurrency schemes. Following an investigation, the police apprehended the scammers and confiscated evidence related to their activities.


To announce the arrest, Assam Police shared an image on their official Instagram account, styled in the animation style of Studio Ghibli. The image depicted the scammers sitting in front of a police station with officers standing behind them. The post was captioned, “They thought they were in a Studio Ghibli plot! Magical money, vanishing wallets, no consequences. We gave these crypto scammers a very real ending.”


The post quickly gained attention on social media, receiving hundreds of likes and comments. Users praised the police for their creative announcement while also raising awareness about crypto-related fraud.
