 NAFDAC Warns Of Fake Toothpaste Circulating In Kaduna, Orders Nationwide Crackdown The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has alerted Nigerians about the circulation of suspected counterfeit toothpaste in Kaduna State, raising concerns over consumer safety and public health. According to the agency, the fake products are designed to imitate popular Colgate toothpaste, potentially deceiving buyers into believing they are genuine. The discovery followed a complaint received by NAFDAC’s Post-Marketing Surveillance team, which prompted an investigation. During inspections, officials found two suspected fake products labeled “Coglaet ActivGel 100g” and “Coglaet Herbal 100g” being sold at a local shop.  The retailer reportedly could not provide proof of purchase, claiming the items were supplied by a door-to-door distributor.  Israeli attack on Beirut blatant violation of ceasefire – Iran


Iran has condemned the Israeli strikes on Beirut, calling them a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei made this known in a statement on Saturday.

“The excuses made by the Zionist regime for justifying the aggression against Lebanon are totally baseless and unjustifiable,” Baqaei said.

He also called on the international community to “make decisive plans to counter the occupying regime’s constant law-breaking in the region—from Gaza to Lebanon and Syria—and the regime’s growing threats against international peace and security.”

The Israeli military carried out several airstrikes on southern Beirut on Friday after a rocket attack was launched at Israel from southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah has denied involvement in the incident and has not responded to the Israeli assaults.
