 Aguiyi Orders Investigation into Trans Nkisi Mining Site Over Environmental Compliance By Amaka Isikala The Anambra State Commissioner for Environment, Dr. Clem Aguiyi, has ordered an investigation into the environmental compliance status of a mining site at Trans Nkisi, Onitsha, following concerns over extensive land degradation and its possible contribution to the growing gully erosion threatening the community. The directive followed an inspection visit to the site on August 1, during which the commissioner was accompanied by leaders of the Trans Nkisi community. The visit formed part of the ministry's ongoing assessment of environmentally sensitive locations across the state in line with Governor Chukwuma Soludo's Fifth Pillar of Development, Environment and Urban Regeneration.  Online Idiots Said Wike Suffered Stroke And Has Been Flown Abroad – Onanuga

The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has debunked rumours that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, is sick and has been flown abroad.


The presidential media aide submitted that online idiots are the ones spreading rumours about the alleged ill health of the FCT Minister.


Onanuga, in a post on Sunday via his 𝕏 account, lambasted those alleging that Wike has suffered a stroke and has been flown abroad for treatment.


Sharing a video of the FCT Minister’s sallah homage to President Tinubu, Onanuga wrote: “Here is Nyesom Wike, the Minister of FCT, reported by some online idiots to have suffered a stroke and flown abroad.”


Wike, on Sunday, led the FCT community to pay a Sallah homage to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House Banquet Hall.


The visit is part of the Eid-El Fitr celebration, which marks the end of the 2025 Ramadan fast.
