 PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT NAF RELEASES LIST OF ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS FOR BMTC 46/2025 APTITUDE TEST The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) wishes to inform the public that the list of eligible applicants for the Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025 Aptitude Test has been published on the NAF Recruitment Portal. The list can be accessed via www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng . The Aptitude Test is scheduled for 13 December 2025 at 15 designated centres nationwide, commencing at 0700hrs. All shortlisted applicants are advised to arrive early and must come with their acknowledgement slips and required writing materials, as these are compulsory for participation. The NAF remains committed to a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process aimed at selecting the most qualified young Nigerians to serve with honour and professionalism.  Two scavengers arrested for stealing aluminum cables in Ogun


The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, also known as So-Safe Corps, has arrested two scavengers for stealing aluminium cable wires at Onijanganjangan, Obada-Oko, in Ewekoro Local Government Area of the state.

The suspects, Kamoru Mustapha and Mubarak Idris were arrested on Saturday during a routine patrol.

The arrest was confirmed in a press statement issued by the office of the State Commander of So-Safe Corps, Soji Ganzallo, through the office of the Director of Information and Public Relations, Moruf Yusuf.

Part of the statement read: “At about 0500 hrs on 29 March 2025, Corps officers on routine patrol apprehended the two suspects, Kamoru Mustapha, 25, and Mubarak Idris, 26, for stealing aluminium cable wires.

“The suspects, who were scavengers, were caught in a bush while carting away aluminium cable wires at Onijanganjangan, Obada-Oko, in Ewekoro Local Government Area.”

The state commander revealed that the suspects confessed to the crime during interrogation.

He added that the suspects and the recovered exhibits had been transferred to the Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Dekudu Village, along Kobape Road, Abeokuta, for further investigation and possible prosecution.
