 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. 632 SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN LIMPOPO DURING OPERATION SHANELA (KUKULA). (PHOTO).

 632 Suspects Arrested in Limpopo During Operation Shanela (Kukula)


Police in Limpopo arrested 632 suspects during Operation Shanela (Kukula), held from 14 to 20 April 2025. The operation aimed to keep communities safe during the Easter holidays.


Different law enforcement units, including SAPS, SANDF, Home Affairs, and traffic officers, took part.


During the operation: 34 illegal liquor outlets were closed, 23 roadblocks were held, 570 premises and 265 farms were searched, 213 second-hand shops were inspected and 2 firearms were recovered.


Arrests included:


188 illegal immigrants, 37 for drunk driving, 4 for illegal firearms, 2 for murder, 4 for rape, 30 for illegal liquor sales, 3 for drug dealing and 15 for dangerous weapons

72 for assault GBH.


The suspects are already appearing in courts across the province.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
