 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. A VIRGINIA WOMAN HAS HER FINAL WISH GRANTED... ONE LAST VISIT FROM HER BELOVED HORSES. (PHOTO).

 A Virginia woman has her final wish granted... one last visit from her beloved horses. 


Elizabeth 'Clairborne' Miller Davis is in the final stages of her fight with cancer. Elizabeth has been a life long horse lover and they have been a major factor in keeping her spirits up as she fought her cancer.


Elizabeth's final wish was to see her horses, Princess and Stormy, one last time. Thanks to the kindness of the staff at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA and her loving family, she got that chance.


Hospital staff teamed up with family members to transport Elizabeth to the hospital lawn where her special friends were waiting to say goodbye to their wonderful owner. 


This is such a heartbreaking and sweet story. Our hearts go out to Elizabeth and her family.  Great job to everyone who helped make this wonderful moment happen. I am certain it means the world to her.
