 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Man Electrocuted While Repairing Power Line in Oyo


An unidentified man was electrocuted on Wednesday in the Odi Babaode area of Eruwa, Ibarapa East LGA of Oyo State, while attempting to fix a fault on a 33KV high-tension line.

The General Manager of the Oyo State Fire Service, Canon Yemi Akinyinka, confirmed the incident in a statement on Friday, explaining that the electrician was working on a live power line without shutting down the feeder.


Akinyinka said the agency responded to a distress call from one Adelanre Adeyinka at 3:29 p.m. on April 23. A rescue team led by Peluola Babatunde arrived at the scene but found the victim already deceased.


The body was recovered and handed over to officers from Eruwa Police Station.


Akinyinka emphasized the importance of safety, warning that only qualified personnel should handle active electrical installations.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
