 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026.  Limpopo radio DJ arrested for allegedly raping a minor relative


A 34-year-old prominent radio personality from the Vhembe District, Limpopo, has been arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a 06-year-old relative at her residence in Mpheni Block B.


The suspect, who works as a DJ at a radio station based in Thohoyandou, was apprehended on Monday following a thorough investigation by Waterval SAPS detectives.


He made his initial appearance before the Waterval Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, where proceedings were postponed to 27 May 2025 for a formal bail application.


Police reports indicate that the incident allegedly occurred on 12 May 2025 at approximately 15:30. The girl's mother, who was in Pretoria at the time, was notified by the child's grandmother that the minor was unwell.


Upon returning home immediately, she learned that the child had already been taken to the hospital, where medical examination confirmed sexual assault.


During subsequent interviews, the child disclosed that the suspect had shown inappropriate material before committing the alleged assault.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
