 NDLEA secures forfeiture of N33.6 billion worth of opioids intercepted at Onne Port - Court order a death knell for the financial nerves of drug cartels, says Marwa  The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has secured another significant win in its ongoing offensive against drug cartels as the Federal High Court, Port Harcourt, granted an interim forfeiture order for 17 containers laden with illicit opioids Worth over N33.6 billion in street value. The containers, which were intercepted at the Port Harcourt Ports Complex in Onne, Rivers State, on 4h September; 14th August; 13th August; 29th July: 13th June; 30th May; 29th May; 28th May; 20th May; 19th May; 14th May and 29th April, all in 2025, contain a staggering haul of Nineteen Million Six Hundred Thousand (19,600,000) pills of Tramadol, Tafrodol, Tapentadol and Carisoprodol, as well as Two Million Four Hundred and Ninety Six Thousand Four Hundred (2,496,400) bottles of Codeine Syrup. AN IOWA MAN OPENS FIRE IN A MINIVAN WHILE ARGUING WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND. FOUR CHILDREN AND THE GIRLFRIEND WERE STRUCK, LEAVING A 4-YEAR-OLD DECEASED.(PHOTOS).

 An Iowa man opens fire in a minivan while arguing with his girlfriend. Four children and the girlfriend were struck, leaving a 4-year-old deceased.


Sadly, a 4-year-old child is deceased after a shocking domestic violence incident that occurred at approximately 10 p.m. last night (June 14th) in Nashville, Tennessee. 


According to local authorities, the incident began as a verbal altercation that escalated into a fatal shooting. Nashville Metro PD say a 41-year-old woman from Illinois, her 26-year-old boyfriend Jovien Smith and her 5 children where in Nashville to visit family. At some point while driving through Nashville, the mother and Jovien began arguing. 


During the initial argument, Jovien threw the mother's cellphone from the window of the vehicle before grabbing the wheel and attempting to cause the vehicle to crash. 


The mother was able to safely pull over to the side of the road. This is when Jovien drew his weapon and began shooting the mother who jumped from the car and ran for help. Jovien then turned his weapon on the 5 children in the back of the van. The bullets struck four of the five children, ultimately taking the life of the 4-year-old. 


Jovien then exited the vehicle and began to chase after the mother. Thankfully officers arrived on scene right at that time and were able to take Jovien into custody. 


The mother and her children were rushed to local hospitals where a 1-year-old and 7-year-old remain in critical condition. A 13-year-old child is listed in stable condition and sadly the 4-year-old passed away as a result of the injuries. The mother also remains in the hospital with serious injuries.


Jovien Smith was booked into Metro Jail and is charged with criminal homicide, five counts of attempted criminal homicide, three counts of felony aggravated assault and one count of aggravated burglary.


His bond was set at 2.6 million dollars.
