There were concern on social media on Monday after reports emerged that she had been arrested and detained. In a post shared on X, human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, confirmed she was detained by the police but was released in the early hours of today after much deliberations. Nollywood actor and socialite, Yul Edochie, said he charges N20 million to attend social events for a good reason.


According to him, whenever he turns up at any events to which he is invited, his ancestors from his paternal and maternal villages attend with him.


“When I charge you 20 million naira to make an appearance at your event, I do not come alone," Edochie boasted. “I come with all my ancestors and ten thousand spirits from Nteje and Umudioka."
