 New UK Prime Minister not the leader Britain needs — Kemi Badenoch UK Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch, has congratulated Andy Burnham on becoming Britain’s new prime minister but said while he is “a nice man,” the country needs a leader capable of making difficult decisions rather than “a people pleaser.” In a statement released on Monday on X following Burnham’s assumption of office, Badenoch wished the new prime minister success but vowed to hold his government accountable as Leader of the Opposition. “Today, Britain has a new Prime Minister. I wish Andy Burnham every success. Because we need a Prime Minister and a Government focused on fixing the public’s priorities,” she said.  ANONYMOUS DONOR PAYS ME N1M WEEKLY TO QUIT ACTING - NKECHI BLESSING


Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing said she is yet to return to full acting because an anonymous donor pays her N1 million each week to stay off acting. 


The controversial actress said she initially stepped away from acting to pursue other options. And when she decided to resume acting again, the mysterious donor showed up.


“I took a break from acting to pursue other things," she stated. "Having someone who placed me on a weekly salary was also part of the reason I stepped back, because guess what, I might not even earn N1 million from a movie.


“So, imagine meeting someone who puts you on a N1 million weekly salary. Anytime I told him I had to go on set, he would ask how much I’d be paid and then send me more than that.”
