 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Fantastic Four: First Steps rides to $218 million global box office debut

Marvel Studios’ “Fantastic Four: First Steps” has given Disney a strong box office boost in 2025, earning $118 million domestically and $110 million internationally for a total global debut of $218 million. This marks a return to the “feast” phase after a mixed year, showing solid audience interest.


The film’s global opening narrowly trails Warner Bros.’ DC release “Superman,” which started with $220 million worldwide, boosted by strong performances in Europe and Mexico despite a slight dip to $33 million domestically on Saturday. However, both Marvel and DC face challenges in attracting casual moviegoers to new superhero stories, as this launch falls short of the $289 million global debut for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” in 2023, despite a similar domestic start of $118 million. “Fantastic Four” has no ties to previous superhero films or series, and early reception has been positive, with an 88% critics rating, 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, and an A- CinemaScore.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
