Imo Obidients Gift ₦5,000 Fuel to Over 50 Bus Drivers Ahead of Peter Obi’s 64th Birthday

Supporters of Peter Obi in Imo State have marked the buildup to his 64th birthday by donating ₦5,000 worth of fuel each to over 50 commercial bus drivers.

Captured in a video shared by @ChuksEricE on X, the drivers expressed gratitude, pledged continued support for Obi, and praised the organizers.

The gesture drew widespread online praise, with many highlighting the struggles of drivers in Imo—particularly military extortion in areas like Orlu.

The initiative underscores the Obidient movement’s ongoing grassroots presence and growing focus on community impact, even as the Tinubu administration struggles to gain similar traction in the southeast.
