 Press Release: Every Hisbah Officer Is a Peace and Security Ambassador in His Community. Kano State Governor Alh.Abba Kabir Yusuf has reaffirmed the determination of his administration to ensure security and peace  for the protection of lives and property across the state. The Governor, represented by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Sani Auwal, made the commitment during a stakeholders meeting on the contribution of shari'a sector institutions toward promoting peace and security in Kano State. The meeting was organized by the Kano State Hisbah Board and held at the Coronation hall Government House, Kano. He emphasized that security is a collective responsibility and urged the Hisbah Board to focus more on providing intelligence reports to conventional security agencies, rather than limiting efforts to moral enforcement alone.  NYSC WARNS FEMALE CORPERS OVER MASQUERADE SIGHTING IN IBADAN


NYSC authorities in Oyo State warned female corp members against trying to see the dreaded Ololu masquerade or travelling along its scheduled routes during the forthcoming annual Egungun festival in Ibadan.


Abimbola Faniyi, Information and Public Relations Officer, warned female NYSC members to respect the traditions of Ibadan people and not venture near the masquerade if they hear of its approach. 


"Corps members should know that it is forbidden for females/women to see the masquerade," she said. “Corps members are also advised to avoid any gathering around the masquerade’s designated routes during the festival."


Faniyi noted that the masquerade will pass through Oje, Gate, Oja-Oba, Ayeye, Orita-Merin, Beere, Oranyan, Idi-Arere, Agugu, Oke-Aremo, Oremeji, and Olubadan Palace areas among other routes during its outings.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
