 NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces.  NYSC WARNS FEMALE CORPERS OVER MASQUERADE SIGHTING IN IBADAN


NYSC authorities in Oyo State warned female corp members against trying to see the dreaded Ololu masquerade or travelling along its scheduled routes during the forthcoming annual Egungun festival in Ibadan.


Abimbola Faniyi, Information and Public Relations Officer, warned female NYSC members to respect the traditions of Ibadan people and not venture near the masquerade if they hear of its approach. 


"Corps members should know that it is forbidden for females/women to see the masquerade," she said. “Corps members are also advised to avoid any gathering around the masquerade’s designated routes during the festival."


Faniyi noted that the masquerade will pass through Oje, Gate, Oja-Oba, Ayeye, Orita-Merin, Beere, Oranyan, Idi-Arere, Agugu, Oke-Aremo, Oremeji, and Olubadan Palace areas among other routes during its outings.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
