 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  NYSC WARNS FEMALE CORPERS OVER MASQUERADE SIGHTING IN IBADAN


NYSC authorities in Oyo State warned female corp members against trying to see the dreaded Ololu masquerade or travelling along its scheduled routes during the forthcoming annual Egungun festival in Ibadan.


Abimbola Faniyi, Information and Public Relations Officer, warned female NYSC members to respect the traditions of Ibadan people and not venture near the masquerade if they hear of its approach. 


"Corps members should know that it is forbidden for females/women to see the masquerade," she said. “Corps members are also advised to avoid any gathering around the masquerade’s designated routes during the festival."


Faniyi noted that the masquerade will pass through Oje, Gate, Oja-Oba, Ayeye, Orita-Merin, Beere, Oranyan, Idi-Arere, Agugu, Oke-Aremo, Oremeji, and Olubadan Palace areas among other routes during its outings.
