 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. SpaceX launches 24 satellites to polar regions to improve internet access

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket Saturday night from Vandenberg Space Force Base near Lompoc, California. The mission deployed 24 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit, placing them into a polar orbit to enhance internet service in polar regions.


The Starlink 17-2 mission lifted off from Space Launch Complex 4 East at 9:31 p.m. PDT. The Falcon 9 booster, tail number B1075, made its 19th flight, including 16 Starlink missions. About eight and a half minutes after liftoff, the booster successfully landed on the droneship "Of Course I Still Love You" in the Pacific Ocean, marking the vessel's 142nd landing and SpaceX’s 481st booster recovery. Astronomer Jonathan McDowell notes that more than 8,000 Starlink satellites are currently in orbit. Earlier in the week, Starlink users experienced a rare full network outage, which began at 4 p.m. and was resolved in stages over the following four hours, with full service restored by the evening.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
