 ‘Friend Of A Thief Is A Thief’, Defence Minister Warns Terrorist Sponsors The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd), has cautioned Nigerians against aiding terrorists, insurgents, bandits, or other criminal elements, stressing that anyone who supports criminal activities will face the full weight of the law. General Musa made the warning on Saturday while speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day 2026 Golf Tournament held at the TYB Golf Resort and Country Club, Yar’Adua Barracks, Abuja.  Flames claim lives of three young children in Limpopo


Police in Thohoyandou have launched an inquest after three young children died in a fire that gutted a one-room house at Itsani village on Friday.


The victims, aged between two and four, were reportedly playing near the house before the blaze broke out. Police say it remains unclear how the children ended up inside the burning room.


Emergency services arrived at the scene and managed to extinguish the flames, but the children were found burned beyond recognition.


Limpopo police commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe described the incident as shocking and confirmed that experts have been summoned to determine the cause of the fire. She also instructed investigators to probe the possibility of negligence charges against the parents or guardians.


Investigations are continuing.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
