 LASCOPA INTRODUCES TOLL-FREE LINE FOR CONSUMERS, URGES RESIDENTS TO REPORT FAKE, EXPIRED PRODUCTS, POOR SERVICES  The Lagos State Government has urged residents to "tell it to LASCOPA" by promptly reporting fake, expired, adulterated and counterfeit products, misleading advertisements, poor services and other consumer-related violations through the Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency's toll-free consumer helpline, 080 0005 2726, or by email at lasgcopa@gmail.com or the Agency's Social media handles - Facebook: lascopa, Instagram: lasgcopa, X (Twitter): lasgcopa  The General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of LASCOPA, Afolabi Solebo, Esq., stated that the toll-free line provides consumers with a direct, accessible channel to report violations, seek guidance and get timely action. MAN FINALLY ARRESTED FOR FATALLY KILLING HIS EX-GIRLFRIEND. (PHOTO).

 Man finally arrested for fatally killing his ex-girlfriend


North West Police have arrested a 26-year-old man suspected of murdering his ex-girlfriend, Kgaugelo Marota (20), and attempting to kill his current girlfriend in Maubane village.


According to Acting Provincial Commissioner Major General Patrick Asaneng, Makapanstad Police acted swiftly, arresting the suspect in Carousel View near Maubane in the early hours of Friday morning.


Marota was found dead at a local tavern on Thursday, 21 August, with multiple stab wounds. Emergency and Medical Rescue Services confirmed her death at the scene.


Investigations revealed that the suspect then attacked his current girlfriend at home. She was rushed to the hospital and is receiving treatment. Disturbingly, the man reportedly posted on social media explaining his actions.


 The suspect is expected to appear in Temba Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 25 August, facing charges of murder and attempted murder.
