  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous.  PETER OBI'S SON SLAMS CRITICS ON FALSEHOOD


The son of Labour Party presidential candidate and former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, has slammed his father's critics as well as his own distractors on slanderous falsehood. 


Oseloka Obi said it is unfortunate that people put him and his father in the same class, adding that he is an actor and filmmaker while his father is the politician.


Oseloka slammed those weaving political lies around his online photos to achieve mischievous ends. 


“I have never lived a life of scandal," he said. "I am an actor and filmmaker, not a politician. It is unfortunate that some people take my creative roles and repackage them into political lies. This pettiness does not move Nigeria forward. These are distractions."
