 LASCOPA INTRODUCES TOLL-FREE LINE FOR CONSUMERS, URGES RESIDENTS TO REPORT FAKE, EXPIRED PRODUCTS, POOR SERVICES  The Lagos State Government has urged residents to "tell it to LASCOPA" by promptly reporting fake, expired, adulterated and counterfeit products, misleading advertisements, poor services and other consumer-related violations through the Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency's toll-free consumer helpline, 080 0005 2726, or by email at lasgcopa@gmail.com or the Agency's Social media handles - Facebook: lascopa, Instagram: lasgcopa, X (Twitter): lasgcopa  The General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of LASCOPA, Afolabi Solebo, Esq., stated that the toll-free line provides consumers with a direct, accessible channel to report violations, seek guidance and get timely action.  Retired General Williams: Nigeria’s Security Problems Can Be Solved in Six Months


Retired General Ishola Williams, the former Chief of Defence Training and Planning, is hopeful that Nigeria can address its numerous security challenges.


Ishola stated on Channels Television's Sunrise Daily program on Friday that the issue of insecurity could be resolved within six months.


"We can resolve the security issue within six months," he claimed.


Reports have emerged of bandit attacks occurring in various parts of the country. The most recent incident involved an assault on a mosque in Katsina State, resulting in the deaths of over 30 worshippers.


Conflicts over land and other resources have been associated with banditry.


Armed gangs have transformed cattle theft, kidnapping, and the imposition of taxes on farmers into lucrative enterprises throughout the impoverished rural areas. Residents report that government presence in these regions has been insufficient.
