 ANAMBRA SHMB WARNS HEALTH INFORMATION OFFICERS OVER LATE REPORTS, REITERATES 7TH-DAY DEADLINE By Ebele Egoh The Anambra State Hospital Management Board (SHMB) has urged Health Information Management Officers to ensure accurate medical records, timely data submission and strict protection of patients’ confidential information to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state. The Director of Medical Support Services of the Board, Mrs Nneka Uzor, gave the call during a meeting and training session for health information personnel held on Oct. 9 at the SHMB conference hall. Mrs Uzor stressed that maintaining complete medical records and safeguarding patients’ information are essential professional responsibilities, cautioning  the officers against disclosing sensitive health information to unauthorised persons and urged them to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.  SUSTAINING SAFTEY IN ANAMBRA: POLICE ARRESTS SUSPECTED CULTIST, DRUG PEDDLER AND RECOVER FIREARMS


The Anambra State Police Command in its sustained fight against cultism, drug peddling and unlawful possession of firearms through the Police Operatives attached to the Special Anti-Cult Squad (SPACS) Enugwu Ukwu in the late hours of 28th August 2025 arrested one Ebuka Ubadigbo ‘M’, 35 years old at Nkpor-Umuoji Road, close to a building site in Idemili North LGA. 


The Operatives also recovered 2 (two) pump-action guns with two live cartridges and large quantities of substances suspected to be hard drugs.


Preliminary interrogation revealed that the suspect confessed to involvement in drug peddling and Investigations are ongoing to identify his accomplices and trace the source of the recovered firearms.


The suspect will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
