 Super eagles coach Eric Chelle has signed for a new sports agency to represent him henceforth.  Eric Chelle, head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has signed with a new sports agency to represent him going forward.  The move is expected to strengthen his professional management and strategic engagements within the global football space.

 TRUMP TO OFFER PUTIN RARE EARTH MINERALS IN ALASKA


US President Donald Trump is allegedly proposing to offer Vladimir Putin rare earth minerals in pursuit of a ceasefire in Ukraine. 


This proposal is ahead of a scheduled meeting between Trump and Putin in Alaska on Friday. The meeting is to discuss ending the war in Ukraine.


Apart from the natural minerals deal, the US may also lift some sanctions on Russia’s aviation industry to make Putin agree to ending the Russian-Ukrainian war.


Trump said that if the meeting goes well, he will schedule another one immediately where himself, Putin, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will meet. 


“If the first one goes okay, we’ll have a quick second one," Trump said. "I would like to do it almost immediately, and we’ll have a quick second meeting between President Putin and President Zelensky and myself, if they’d like to have me there.”

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
