 TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms. Ika of Africa goes global! Portable flaunts new Canadian visa


Nigerian street-hop singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has once again set social media buzzing after unveiling his new makeover and showering himself with grand titles.

Taking to his Instagram page, the “Zazu Zeh” crooner shared photos of himself clad in a white and green outfit while boldly listing the names he now identifies with.

Portable described himself as “Mr Nigeria, Tony Montana of London, Ika of Africa, Emergency Musician, and Awolumate of America.” He also bragged about securing two separate 10-year Canadian visas, emphasizing that music is his main source of livelihood.

“Call Me Mr Nigeria Agbara God Power, Ika of Africa, Emergency Musician, Tony Montana of London, Awolumate of America. I got 10 10-year Canada visa. I do music for a living. Zazuu Zeh, Canadian,” he wrote.
