 Nigeria's Defence Minister Summons Service Chiefs Amid Surge in Attacks on Military Bases Nigeria's Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), has urgently summoned the nation's top military leaders to a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Abuja. The session addresses the escalating attacks targeting military installations, particularly in the North East region. The meeting includes key figures such as: - Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede - Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu - Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke - Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abass - Representatives from the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) The summons comes in response to recent deadly assaults by terrorists on military bases in the North East.  Tom Holland says he’s ‘recovering’ in first update since Spider-Man set injury

Tom Holland is on the road to recovery after a head injury on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, sharing an update with fans over the weekend. The actor posted about a gala for his charity, The Brothers Trust, which he runs with his siblings, apologizing for having to leave the event early.

The post included clips from the evening, showing guests laughing and enjoying the star-studded event, which included his girlfriend Zendaya and co-star Jacob Batalon. Holland thanked family and friends for making the night a success, joking that his father added extra humor when stepping in as host. In his caption, Holland said he’s “feeling better and on the mend,” though filming on the movie remains paused following his concussion. The injury occurred during a routine stunt, but production is expected to resume soon as he continues his recovery.
