 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity.  12 Feared Dead in Kenya Plane Crash


A small plane carrying 12 people crashed in a hilly, forested area of Kenya's coastal Kwale region killing all onboard


The aircraft was headed to the renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve.


The Cessna Caravan-type plane went down about 40 kilometers (25 miles) from Diani airstrip, minutes after takeoff, bursting into flames and leaving charred wreckage, authorities reported.


Kwale County Commissioner Stephen Orinde told The Associated Press that all passengers were foreign tourists, with nationalities to be confirmed later. 


The exact breakdown of passengers and crew was not immediately available.


Witnesses described hearing a loud bang before arriving at the scene to find unrecognizable human remains.


The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority confirmed 12 people were aboard and is investigating the cause.


 Mombasa Air Safari, the operator, said it is cooperating with authorities and will provide updates through the aviation body.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
