BLORD IS OUT FROM KUJE PRISON AFTER PERFECTING ALL HIS BAIL CONDITIONS.(PHOTO).

So Linus Williams (Blord) has been released from Kuje prison after fulfilling his bail conditions, finally, freedom after a few weeks in custody. However, here’s the current position of his case:  He is still expected to show up and stand his trial.  If he fails to appear in court even for one day, his bail can be revoked and a bench warrant may be issued against him, meaning a return to Kuje. If the prosecution cannot prove the charges against him, he will be discharged and acquitted. If the prosecution proves the charges, he may be sentenced and sent back to Kuje. I think he should seek a peaceful resolution to the case. Congrats to him on his freedom for now.

ARMY OFFICER DIES AFTER WIFE ALLEGEDLY SETS HIM ABLAZE IN AKWA IBOM

7th October, 2025

A Nigerian Army officer, Lieutenant Samson Haruna, has reportedly died from severe burns allegedly inflicted by his wife during a domestic dispute in Akwa Ibom State.

The incident, which occurred on September 22, 2025, at Wellington Bassey Barracks in Ibagwa, Abak Local Government Area, was made public on Tuesday by counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, via a post on X (formerly Twitter).

According to Makama, Lt. Haruna — who also served as a medical doctor and Regimental Medical Officer (RMO) with the 6 Battalion — had a heated argument with his wife, Mrs. Samson Haruna, which turned violent. During the altercation, she allegedly doused him with petrol and set him on fire.

“The officer sustained serious burns and was initially treated at the Military Reference Section within the barracks before being transferred to the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital for advanced care,” Makama quoted a source as saying.

Despite sustained medical efforts, Lt. Haruna later succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the incident.
