 ANAMBRA POLICE ARREST SUSPECTED DRUG DEALER, RECOVER ILLICIT DRUGS WORTH ₦5.8 MILLION IN OTUOCHA As CP Nnanna notes that illicit drugs can fuel criminality, charges officers to sustain targeted operations to nip crime in the bud The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 28-year-old suspected drug dealer, identified as Chinedu Nwankwo, and recovered a large quantity of suspected Cannabis Sativa, Methamphetamine and Colorado (Colos), estimated at ₦5.8 million. The suspect was arrested in the early hours of today, 29th August 2026, by operatives of the Rapid Response Team during an intelligence-driven patrol operation along the Nteje–Otuocha Road. Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect was allegedly conveying the illicit substances to Otuocha, Anyamelium, Nzam, Umuleri and Aguleri areas for delivery to suspected criminal elements.  Former WWE star Sir Mo dies at 58

Former WWE tag team champion Sir Mo, whose real name was Bobby Horne, has passed away at the age of 58. Horne’s brother, Gerald Horne, confirmed that he died Sunday night at a hospital in Texas.

Horne had been struggling with long-term kidney issues, which led to a hospital stay lasting several months. His condition worsened after he was diagnosed with pneumonia and a blood infection while receiving care. Sir Mo began his professional wrestling career in 1991 and joined WWE in 1993 with his tag team partner Nelson Frazier. The pair, known as Men on a Mission, captured a WWE tag team championship in 1994.
