No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

Gospel Singer Nathaniel Bassey Shares Heartbreaking Story of Wife’s Five Miscarriages During Hallelujah Challenge

Renowned gospel singer and pastor Nathaniel Bassey has revealed a deeply personal trial, disclosing that his wife, Sarah Bassey, endured five miscarriages, including an ectopic pregnancy, during a period when he was leading the globally celebrated Hallelujah Challenge. The revelation came during the ongoing October 2025 edition of the virtual worship program, which began on October 7 and will run for 25 days until October 31, with nightly sessions starting at 11:59 p.m. WAT.

Speaking in the early hours of Friday, October 10, while leading thousands of participants worldwide in worship, praise, prayer, and fasting, Bassey opened up about the emotional weight he carried during past editions of the Hallelujah Challenge. The program, now marking its eighth anniversary, has become a cornerstone of spiritual renewal for countless believers. Reflecting on his personal struggles, Bassey shared how he continued to minister despite profound grief.

“As men of God and ministers, we hear a lot of stories. People come to me and say, ‘Pastor Nathaniel, you don’t understand…’” Bassey said. “My wife will have to forgive me for sharing this, but there were times during the Hallelujah Challenge when we had a miscarriage, and nobody knew. I would still come online to praise and dance.”

Bassey recounted a particularly difficult moment when his wife was hospitalized with an ectopic pregnancy. “A few years ago, she was in the hospital. I would leave, lead praise and worship online, then return to the hospital. The nurses attending to her would say, ‘It was powerful tonight.’ Not one, not two, not three or four pregnancies, but five.”

Nathaniel and Sarah Bassey, who married in 2013, have faced these challenges with resilience, and the pastor used his story to encourage steadfast faith. “When people ask, ‘Where is God?’ I say, I understand. God is faithful,” he declared. “One of the words He gave us was, ‘Don’t give up on God.’”

Bassey’s testimony underscored the power of unwavering trust in God’s promises, even amidst personal pain. “My life is proof that God remains faithful,” he said, urging believers to hold fast to their faith regardless of life’s trials.

The Hallelujah Challenge continues to draw a global audience, uniting participants in nightly worship and prayer. Bassey’s vulnerability has resonated deeply, inspiring many to persevere through their own challenges while praising God.
