 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026.   25-Year-Old Man Who Killed His Mother Shot by Neighbour


The community of Mosiane View in the North West province has been left in shock after a 25-year-old man brutally killed his 48-year-old mother on Saturday.


A disturbing video circulating on social media shows the young man attacking his mother with a shovel in a gruesome and senseless act of violence.


According to North West police spokesperson, Colonel Sam Tselenyane, the incident took a tragic turn when a neighbour, who tried to intervene, allegedly shot and killed the son in an attempt to stop the attack.


The motive behind the incident remains unclear, but authorities suspect that drug abuse may have influenced the young man’s violent behaviour.


Police investigations into the matter are continuing.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
