 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision. TACHA: ANOTHER NIGERIAN ATTEMPTS TO BREAK GUINNESS WORLD RECORD IN LAGOS.(VIDEO/PHOTO).

 Another Nigerian Attempts to Break  Guinness World Record in Lagos.


29 year old reality TV star, media personality and make-up artist, Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, is attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the most makeovers completed in 24 hours. 


Her goal is to do complete makeovers for 150 women within 24 hrs. The project which is part of the Tacha's Beauty Festival, started 8pm on the11th of October and continues on Sunday 12th. So far she has spent 12hrs making over 115 women using approximately 4 minutes on each person. The race to beat the 24-hour mark will end 8pm.


According to the project's manager, Tacha has already surpassed the existing record of 113 makeovers by completing 115 in 12 hours.


Indian-origin makeup artist Swapnil Shinde, holds the existing Guinness World Record for the "Most Cosmetic Makeovers by an Individual in 24 hours after completing 113 makeovers.
