 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. TACHA: ANOTHER NIGERIAN ATTEMPTS TO BREAK GUINNESS WORLD RECORD IN LAGOS.(VIDEO/PHOTO).

 Another Nigerian Attempts to Break  Guinness World Record in Lagos.


29 year old reality TV star, media personality and make-up artist, Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, is attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the most makeovers completed in 24 hours. 


Her goal is to do complete makeovers for 150 women within 24 hrs. The project which is part of the Tacha's Beauty Festival, started 8pm on the11th of October and continues on Sunday 12th. So far she has spent 12hrs making over 115 women using approximately 4 minutes on each person. The race to beat the 24-hour mark will end 8pm.


According to the project's manager, Tacha has already surpassed the existing record of 113 makeovers by completing 115 in 12 hours.


Indian-origin makeup artist Swapnil Shinde, holds the existing Guinness World Record for the "Most Cosmetic Makeovers by an Individual in 24 hours after completing 113 makeovers.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
