 Anambra Government Reaffirms Mega City Drive, Demolishes Scores of Illegal Structures By Ruth Orji  The Anambra State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the ongoing regeneration drive and restoration of sanity across the state through enforcement exercises and demolition of illegal structures statewide. The exercise was led by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Barrister Chijioke Ojukwu, on July 8, in line with the Physical Planning Law of Anambra State. Stating that it is no longer business as usual, the commissioner urged residents to take every notice received from the ministry seriously and comply promptly with planning regulations henceforth. He, however, said several eviction notices had been served but were taken with a pinch of salt, adding that demolitions followed because structures defaced the environment or obstructed pedestrian walkways. UPDATE: FORMER SANGAMON COUNTY DEPUTY SEAN GRAYSON HAS BEEN FOUND GUILTY OF SECOND-DEGREE HOMICIDE IN THE DEATH OF SONYA MASSEY.(PHOTO).

 Illinois- Former Sangamon County deputy Sean Grayson has been found guilty of second-degree homicide in the death of Sonya Massey.


Sean Grayson shot an unarmed Sonya Massey three times in July of 2024. 


His trial was moved to Peoria, Illinois. Many people in the community believed the jury would not deliberate for long and they were correct. The jury deliberated for just 12 hours before handing over the guilty verdict. 


We will update with his sentencing when it occurs. His sentencing could include prison time for 4 to 20 years, or probation, fines, and home confinement. We are very curious to see what his sentence will be. 


Grayson does have third stage colon cancer. He is treated for it regularly. 


Rest in peace, Sonya Massey. All of her family members that I have met are wonderful people. They deserve closure.
