So Linus Williams (Blord) has been released from Kuje prison after fulfilling his bail conditions, finally, freedom after a few weeks in custody. However, here’s the current position of his case:  He is still expected to show up and stand his trial.  If he fails to appear in court even for one day, his bail can be revoked and a bench warrant may be issued against him, meaning a return to Kuje. If the prosecution cannot prove the charges against him, he will be discharged and acquitted. If the prosecution proves the charges, he may be sentenced and sent back to Kuje. I think he should seek a peaceful resolution to the case. Congrats to him on his freedom for now.

2 killed in Russian overnight strike on Ukrainian infrastructure, officials report

Russian forces launched an overnight assault across Ukraine, striking energy infrastructure with 241 drones and five missiles and killing two civilians, Ukrainian officials reported. The Ukrainian air force said roughly 175 drones and four missiles were intercepted, destroyed, or jammed, while 65 drones managed to hit targets in 14 locations.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described the attacks as targeting “peaceful Ukrainian cities and communities,” noting that such strikes occur “almost every day and every night.” He said the primary aim of the assaults is to target infrastructure that supports daily life. The two civilian deaths were reported in Donetsk and Novhorod-Siverskyi in the Chernihiv region, while the industrial city of Kremenchuk sustained damage to some energy facilities. Volodymyr Kohut, acting governor of the Poltava region, said repair work began immediately and continues, though electricity supply remains complicated and heat and water services are affected.

The city of Fastiv in the Kyiv region was also hit by drone attacks for the second time in a single day. Zelenskyy added that, over the past week alone, Russia has deployed more than 1,600 attack drones and around 1,200 guided aerial bombs, primarily targeting critical civilian infrastructure. The president emphasized Ukraine’s urgent need for additional air defense systems and missiles, calling on international partners to expedite support for the country’s defenders. “The priority is clear: more air defense systems and missiles, and more support for our defenders,” Zelenskyy said. “Every agreement must be implemented faster. I thank everyone who is working to support Ukraine.”
