 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration. 21-YEAR-OLD JUSTIN GOLDEN HAS BEEN SENTENCED TO 30 YEARS IN PRISON AFTER PLEADING GUILTY TO AGGRAVATED MANSLAUGHTER OF A CHILD IN THE DEATH OF HIS SON, PABLO KYE GOLDEN.(PHOTO).

 In a heartbreaking case from Jacksonville, Florida, 21-year-old Justin Golden has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to aggravated manslaughter of a child in the death of his son, Pablo Kye Golden.

 The incident occurred on January 25, 2025, following a dispute, when Golden placed his 8-month-old son on the ground near an intersection, where the child was struck by a vehicle.  


During the sentencing hearing on December 19, Golden expressed deep remorse, stating: “While I did not intend to harm my son... I failed as his protector and father.” His words reflected the gravity of the tragedy and the lasting impact of his actions.  


The judge imposed the maximum sentence of 30 years, emphasizing the profound violation of trust inherent in the case. Our thoughts are with Pablo’s family and everyone affected by this devastating loss during such a difficult time.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
