EL-RUFAI TO REMAIN IN CUSTODY AS COURT ADJOURNS BAIL APPLICATION TO APRIL 14.(PHOTO).

 El-Rufai to remain in custody as court adjourns bail application to April 14 Justice Rilwanu Aikawa of a Federal High Court in Kaduna has adjourned the hearing of the bail application filed by former Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, to April 14th. The bail application of the former governor came up before the court today. April 1. The court adjourned the case after listening to arguments from both the defence and prosecution  El-Rufai was arraigned by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on a 10-count charge bordering on alleged conversion of public property and money laundering. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The court ordered that he remain in ICPC custody pending the hearing of his bail application on the fixed date. The former governor arrived at the court premises around 9:00 a.m. in a black Hilux vehicle, accompanied by DSS officials.

 I have not seen Nnamdi Kanu, Uwazuruike, or Simon Ekpa advance any progressive course that will positively transform either the economic or social fortunes of Ndi Igbo- Mazi Ejimofor Opara


The National Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mazi Ejimofor Opara has opined that the people who have championed the Biafra agitation after Ojukwu, have been unable to advance any progressive course that will positively transform the economic or social fortunes of Ndigbo of their generation, this generation and even generation to come.


According to Ejimofor, what Alaigbo has experienced under the leadership of these men and their followers is just alter destruction. The APGA publicity Secretary maintained that the issue of marginalization which is often used as a tool by people who agitate for Biafra, is a social fact that exist in every society. According to Ejimofor.


“Marginalization is a social fact, it exist even in the most egalitarian society, just like cr!me, it is commensal  to human nature, there is no place you will go and there wouldn’t be unequal distribution of opportunities or even life itself “


Ejimofor aserted that in the course of establishing and finding a meaning to Biafra, the Igbos have lost alot, including humans and resources, hence he sees Biafra as a problem and unending struggle .
