 TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms.  Nawat Confirms: Veena Praveenar Won’t Inherit the Miss Universe 2025 Crown Even If Fatima Bosch Resigns


The Miss Universe controversy continues to escalate as Nawat Itsaragrisil confirmed that even if reigning Miss Universe 2025 Fatima Bosch steps down, 1st runner-up Veena Praveenar Singh will not automatically take over the crown. The statement, which has been circulating widely on pageant forums and social media, adds more tension to an already heated global discussion.


Rumors of Bosch’s possible dethronement have intensified following ongoing debates about the pageant’s integrity, online allegations of irregularities, and the backlash after the controversial Bangkok finale. But according to Nawat, the traditional rule where the first runner-up succeeds the titleholder may not apply this year. This suggests that MUO could be preparing an entirely different process if the seat is ever vacated.
