Nawat Confirms: Veena Praveenar Won’t Inherit the Miss Universe 2025 Crown Even If Fatima Bosch Resigns

The Miss Universe controversy continues to escalate as Nawat Itsaragrisil confirmed that even if reigning Miss Universe 2025 Fatima Bosch steps down, 1st runner-up Veena Praveenar Singh will not automatically take over the crown. The statement, which has been circulating widely on pageant forums and social media, adds more tension to an already heated global discussion.

Rumors of Bosch’s possible dethronement have intensified following ongoing debates about the pageant’s integrity, online allegations of irregularities, and the backlash after the controversial Bangkok finale. But according to Nawat, the traditional rule where the first runner-up succeeds the titleholder may not apply this year. This suggests that MUO could be preparing an entirely different process if the seat is ever vacated.

As of now, MUO has not released any official statement regarding a change in succession rules. Both Bosch and Veena remain silent as supporters from Mexico, Thailand, and across the world wait for clarity.

This latest development leaves fans questioning what really happens if the crown is relinquished. One thing is certain: the Miss Universe 2025 drama is far from over.
