 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. The rapper shared family-friendly versions of his classic songs like “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” while adding seasonal cheer. The show began with Martha Stewart reading a fun, reimagined version of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.”


Highlights included special guest appearances and collaborations across different music styles, featuring country artist Lainey Wilson, the group HUNTR/X (EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami), and opera singer Andrea Bocelli with his son Matteo performing holiday favorites like “White Christmas.”


With more than 100 performers on stage—including dancers, singers, violinists, and an orchestra dressed in bright, festive colors—the production brought together hip-hop, country, pop, and classical music in a joyful celebration.Many viewers enjoyed the creative mix, calling it one of the most memorable and uplifting halftime shows in recent years.
