 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  Undocumented Mozambican Shop Owner Arrested for Stolen Firearm


• A 30-year-old undocumented Mozambican spaza shop owner was arrested in Embalenhle on Wednesday, 03 December 2025.


• The arrest was carried out by the Secunda-based Hawks Serious Organised Crime Investigation unit, with support from the Secunda K9 Unit.


•Information received on 24 November 2025 indicated that the suspect, who operates a spaza shop at Embalenhle Gate 6, was in possession of a firearm.


• Hawks officers conducted surveillance and later obtained a search warrant.


• During the operation on 03 December, the search warrant was executed and a firearm, reported stolen in March 2021, was recovered with its serial number intact.


• Six live rounds of ammunition were also seized.


• The firearm will undergo ballistic testing to check if it is linked to other crimes.


• The suspect is expected to appear before the Evander Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 04 December 2025.
