 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration.  Bandits Abduct Baptist Pastor, Family Members In Kaduna Community


Suspected bandits have reportedly abducted a Baptist Church pastor, Pastor Daniel Bagama, and his three daughters in Tudun/Bussah village, Kakau Ward of Chikun Local Government Area, Kaduna State.


According to residents, the incident occurred late on Sunday night, January 18, 2026, at about 11:00 p.m., when the attackers stormed the village and forcefully took away the victims.


Eyewitnesses said the assailants arrived under the cover of darkness, creating fear and panic among residents before escaping with their captives to an unknown location.


As of the time of this report, security agencies are yet to issue an official statement, while efforts are ongoing to gather more details surrounding the abduction.


Kaduna State has continued to experience similar attacks in recent times, raising serious concerns over the safety of rural communities.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
