 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings. Stephen Graham has confirmed that he and co-creator Jack Thorne are working on a second season of the hit Netflix series "Adolescence." 

Speaking backstage at the 2026 Golden Globes after winning Best Male Actor in a Limited Series, Graham revealed, "I cannot answer that question because it's somewhere in the deep recesses of my mind and Jack's mind, and we'll pull it out in three or four years, so stay tuned."


The psychological thriller had a massive night at the Golden Globes, taking home four trophies including Best Limited Series. Newcomer Owen Cooper became the youngest star to win Best Supporting Actor in a TV series, while Erin Doherty won Best Supporting Actress. The show has become Netflix's second most-watched English-language series of all time with over 146 million views in its first 91 days and previously won eight Emmy Awards out of 13 nominations.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
