 El-Rufai to remain in custody as court adjourns bail application to April 14 Justice Rilwanu Aikawa of a Federal High Court in Kaduna has adjourned the hearing of the bail application filed by former Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, to April 14th. The bail application of the former governor came up before the court today. April 1. The court adjourned the case after listening to arguments from both the defence and prosecution  El-Rufai was arraigned by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on a 10-count charge bordering on alleged conversion of public property and money laundering. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The court ordered that he remain in ICPC custody pending the hearing of his bail application on the fixed date. The former governor arrived at the court premises around 9:00 a.m. in a black Hilux vehicle, accompanied by DSS officials.

 Tommy Lee's daughter Victoria, found dead in San Francisco


Victoria Jones, the daughter of Hollywood star Tommy Lee Jones, has been found dead in an hotel in San Francisco. The actress was pronounced dead by paramedics on New Year’s day.

Reports say that the case was turned over to the San Francisco Police Department and the Medical Examiner’s Office. The authorities, however, are yet to disclose the cause of death.

The 34-year-old is the daughter to famous award-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones. She was famous for her appearance in Men in Black 2 and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, a movie directed by her father.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
