NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. REAL HOUSEWIVES OF LONDON STAR AMANDA CRONIN HAS BEEN BANNED FROM DRIVING AFTER BEING CAUGHT SPEEDING AT JUST 4MPH OVER THE 20MPH LIMIT — IN HER BRAND NEW £250,000 BENTLEY.(PHOTO).

Real Housewives of London star Amanda Cronin has been banned from driving after being caught speeding at just 4mph over the 20mph limit — in her brand new £250,000 Bentley.

Cronin, of Belgravia, pleaded guilty to driving her blue V8 Bentley Continental GT at 4mph above the 20mph limit on the A4.

She was caught in excess of the limit at 6.20pm on May 26 last year, near the junction with Lexham Gardens, South Kensington.

The Real Housewives star received three penalty points for the offence, but due to her history of speeding offences this took her to a total of twelve - triggering an automatic six-month ban.

The wealthy divorcee already had nine points on her licence for speeding offences in 30mph zones on October 10, 2023, August 21, 2024 and November 3, 2024.

Cronin had pleaded with the court not to issue a ban, arguing that caring for her 85 year-old Hampshire-based mother Janet meant keeping her licence was vital.

But a judge disagreed and handed her the standard six-month ban.

Sometimes it's the small things that catch up with you.
