 NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces. ‎The General Manager of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan, FISN, has declared that Lagos State is fully prepared for the establishment of State Police, affirming that the state’s existing security framework is well-positioned for the transition.


‎


‎In a recent interview with journalists, Prince Oyekan noted that the Agency, widely regarded as a pioneer of community policing in Nigeria, is strategically structured to evolve into a state security apparatus once the legal framework for State Police is enacted. 


He explained that the LNSA has undergone significant restructuring and re-engineering to align with modern safety and security demands, adopting a proactive, technology-backed and intelligence-driven model across the state.

‎“We are not designed to merely react to incidents,” he stated. “Our Corps Officers are trained to anticipate, prevent, and mitigate security threats before they occur.”

‎Prince Oyekan, who was recently reappointed for a second five-year term by the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to strengthening grassroots security architecture. 


He emphasised that under Governor Sanwo-Olu’s leadership, the Agency and its Corps arm will continue to evolve into a modern, efficient, and responsive safety institution capable of advancing the vision of a safer Lagos.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
